Darius Rucker For St. Jude
Darius Rucker is hosting the first annual Darius & Friends benefit to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event is taking place June 7, 2010, at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee.
Joining Darius on stage in support of this wonderful cause are fellow country stars Jake Owen, Jamey Johnson, Radney Foster and Randy Houser.
Rucker has performed at several past events and has been a long supporter of the research and efforts of St. Jude. A visit and a tour of the hospital last year gave him the inspiration to develop and host such an event.
“The Friends joining me for this benefit concert share the same dream I do for a cancer free world, but until that can happen, we need to raise awareness and funds for this incredible organization. It’s going to be a great night of music and stories.”
